5. Mr. Kennedy Misses Out On Dream Storyline Scenario Of Being Vince McMahon’s Son

You don’t get a seal of approval in this industry than being a McMahon, and at one time, the former Mr. Kennedy was going to be revealed as the illegitimate third McMahon child, but a series of unfortunate events led to his never quite getting the foothold he needed.
Kennedy was the second ever Money in the Bank winner, retrieving the briefcase not long after Edge’s memorable cash-in, and claiming he was going to hold it right up until WrestleMania XXIV. Only a few months later, however, he suffered an injury and dropped the case to the Rated R Superstar. On his return, it seemed like the stars were finally aligned as they teased him as the third McMahon child, but Kennedy found guilty of violating the wellness policy, and was suspended.
Kennedy returned, and began to climb the ladder again. He defeated Shawn Michaels multiple times, and even starred in a WWE Studios production. However, another injury would set him back, and on his return match, he’s said to have nearly injured Randy Orton and was released four days later.
