Many were shocked to see Mark Henry leave the WWE; he was one of the biggest superstars there and won many tournaments. Even people who derided WWE wrestling as being fake, had to give Henry the thumbs up for his impressive martial arts skills. Henry was also very impressive in terms of strength training, being able to squat over nine hundred pounds and he was considered to be one of the strongest people on Earth. After his release from WWE, Henry became a pallbearer at a funeral for Michael Clark Duncan (who was a good friend of his, who he met when he power lifted). Henry hoisted the casket above his shoulders and carried it to the burial site. Though he has since left the spotlight, Henry did join the International Sports Hall of Fame, as acknowledgement of his extreme strength.
