3. Dolph Ziggler’s Frequent Injuries Cost Him Mega Push
In many ways, Dolph Ziggler is the modern day Mr. Perfect. Not just in terms of his look, ability and charisma, but in that he’s never fully been trusted to take the ball and run.
Ziggler is a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion, but neither of those reigns are much to write home about. The first title was won via disqualification when Edge was banned from using the Spear, and the reign lasted all of eleven minutes. His second title victory was in front of one of the hottest crowds in recent memory as he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Alberto Del Rio. Unfortunately, he was sidelined with a concussion not long after, and would drop the title back to Del Rio in his first title defense.
Many speculate that WWE don’t trust Dolph Ziggler due to his outspoken nature. He’s been critical of fellow colleagues, such as Randy Orton, in interviews, and is known to push the boundaries on his Twitter account. Here’s hoping that his current reign as Intercontinental Champion is a sign of good things in Ziggler’s future.
