9. Sid Eudy
Sid Eudy was in the WWE from 1991 to 1997, but since being released from his wrestling career, he has gone on to participate in bodybuilding contests, well into his fifties. However, he has since suffered some major heart problems, as reported by his family that landed him in the hospital. Since his recovery, we have yet to see where Eudy will go next, so in many aspects, this WWE superstar story is still in the making.

10. Steve Blackman
Steve Blackman was a champion fighter many times in WWE, most noted for his special martial arts moves that won the crowd from fans. However, in 2002, Blackman suffered a major injury that forced him out of the WWE. But that hasn’t kept Blackman from doing what he loves. He has opened up a martial arts school in Pennsylvania, where he has trained many people who have gone on to become professional fighters themselves. In 2007, Blackman married and had a daughter.

#1 Triple Cage Match
The idea of three cages being stacked up around a ring may sound cool in the start but it was sure to change the opinion as the match progressed.
The prime example of how the match was messed up came in WCW where the company decided to throw in David Arquette (who is an actor with no wrestling experience at all), Jeff Jarrett and Diamond Dallas Page to battle it out for the WCW world championship.
Cage was divided into three compartments with the size getting smaller as we climbed further. In order to get into the second cell, the wrestlers had to go through a small hole in the first one by using a ladder. In the second cage there were weapons which they could use at their will.
And then there was the third cage where the men couldn’t even throw a proper swinging punch. The title was hanged on top of the third cage which surprisingly wasn’t taken by the first wrestler who reached there as he was busy waiting for his opponents to get up there.

#2 Electrified cage match
Like the original ECW, TNA has also had some good gimmick matches in their history. The X-Division and the lethal lockdown matches were the high points of the company.
However, this was a match that many wouldn’t want to remember. It was a simple steel cage match with the steel being electrified. So whenever a wrestler touches the steel, he gets electrocuted. And to add in the special effects, the company would flicker the lights when someone touched the steel.
The legendary Team 3D and Latin American Exchange were the teams lucky enough to fight out the match in-between the six sides of steel and it is only understandable why TNA didn’t use the match after that.

#3 Lion’s Den Match
UFC is pretty much a great competition to WWE at the moment but they were nowhere near the international status that they have now.
However, Vince McMahon had the idea of having a UFC like match in his WWE and to make the fans realize it was wrestling, he gave a pretty good name as well.
The match was contested inside a circular like structure with the referee standing on top to call the submissions and the knockouts.
The main problem with the match was that the fans and the camera man had no idea what was going inside the ring as it was too hard to follow the action with such big fences.

#4 Raw Bowl
The college football has given WWE some big names and at one particular point, the company went a bit far to thank the sport.
They decided to put up a match called the Raw Bowl in 1996 and had four tag teams who wore college football jerseys. The ring was designed to look like a football ground and even the referee was dressed in football clothes.
There was even timeouts allotted to the teams in between the match which had the lights of legends like Razor Ramon and Owen Hart. And as a cherry on the top, the company even gave a trophy to the team that won just to make sure that the fans didn’t know that they were watching wrestling.

#5 Kennel from Hell Match
Dogs are simply put one of the most dangerous things to have around when a wrestling match is going on and WWE somehow though that it would be a great idea to use them.
The match took place between Al Snow and Big Boss Man in 1999 and they fought inside a steel cage. The cage however had a cell attached to it with guard dogs between the ring and the cell door.
The purpose of the dogs was to prevent the wrestlers from getting out of the cage which was the only way to win the match as well. It was one of the lowest points that he WWE had back in the Attitude Era and Al Snow somehow managed to win the match by escaping the cage as well.

#6 Shark Cage Match
No, this does not involve a shark but it does involve a cage which is a hornswoggle compare to the cages we see today.
So there as this cage which wasn’t big enough to hold the Big Show and there were two men fighting inside it. There was no use of the ring whatsoever, as the only purpose that it served was to play stage for the awful cage.
Most of the wrestler even struggle to perform their moves in the vast squared circle and then there was this match which happened inside a container in which one didn’t even have the freedom to stretch out his arms.

#7 Blindfold match
Wrestling without any doubt is a sport which requires all the senses in full throttle. And many promotions though that taking away one of the most important sense would make the contest more interesting.
It didn’t turn out that way as most of these matches seemed ridiculous. The wrestlers mostly had no idea where they were most of the time and we were expecting them to deliver a pitch perfect finisher or buildup some athletic moves.
If wrestling wasn’t fake, these types of matches would’ve easily led to someone breaking their neck or on a lighter, killing the referee.

#8 Gulf of Mexico Match
The original ECW is credited to some very interesting stipulations in their matches but when WWE decided to run a relaunch, they had matches like this.
Objective of the Gulf of Mexico match was to throw your opponent into the Gulf of Mexico as the name suggested. The match was contested between CM Punk and Chavo Guerrero and instead of starting the match out in the street to gain advantage, the two decided to start it in the ring.
They then fought all the way into the streets and Chavo eventually got thrown into the chilling waters. The best part was that the fans didn’t get to see the bizarre ending in person though they were cursed of seeing it on the big screen.

#9 Object on a Pole Match
The Idea of retrieval matches were always a hit with the fans. However, this stipulation was something which didn’t sit well.
There are a lot of possibilities in this match but the pole being in one corner was simply pathetic. The ring has no less than four corners, and the company is trying to make us believe that one wrestler can’t simply knock his opponent to one corner and grab the item from the other.
To make matter worse, the objects were weirder as well they ranged from WWE contracts to Viagra. I mean who would want to win a match to get some Viagra?

#10 Scaffold Match
Though two people fighting on top of a platform setup well above the ring sounds cool, on the bigger picture the match was clearly something that a majority didn’t want.
First of all, there was a big amount of risk on the wellbeing of the wrestler who was competing in this. One could easily take the wrong fall and end up in the grave in no time. Secondly, there weren’t much potential in the match.
The only thing that the wrestler had to do was throw his opponent off the scaffold and they couldn’t even do good moves on top of that.
And most importantly, it was a pain in the neck for all the fans that had to keep their head up to follow whatever action that they could see.

The official WWE Shop website has quite literally slashed the price of former WWE Superstar CM Punk's Best In The World DVD and Blu-Ray from $19.99 and $24.99 respectively to both $2.99!
The former WWE Champion who had the longest consecutive WWE championship reign of any wrestler in the past 25 years reportedly had his lawyers issue WWE with legal papers concerning royalties to do with the upcoming WWE 2K15 video game. Speculation suggests that WWE is not paying Punk any money for the use of his likeness in the game.
Punk was added to the WWE 2K15 game roster before he quit the company in January.

#1 Bret Hart
Arguably the greatest blow up happened right after the most infamous incident in professional wrestling history. Dubbed the ‘Montreal Screwjob’, Vince McMahon, Shawn Michaels and Triple H screwed Bret Hart out of the WWE championship, and out of the company during the Survivor Series PPV in ’97. Bret was scheduled to retain the title and give it up on the next episode of RAW, as he had signed with WCW, but Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels double crossed the legendary grappler in his home country, as an irate Bret spat in Vince McMahon’s face!
Bret later destroyed the ringside area, and allegedly punched Vince McMahon backstage, when The Undertaker forced Vince to confront Bret Hart. As a result, Vince broke his ankle and Bret Hart left for WCW. A lot could have happened if things hadn’t ended the way they did, but in the end, Bret walked away from the WWE with bad blood and it took more than a decade for Bret and Vince/Shawn to bury the hatchet.

#2 The Ultimate Warrior
The rise of The Ultimate Warrior was quite similar to that of Lesnar’s, but he was looked upon as the ‘chosen one’ after Hulk Hogan passed the proverbial torch. Warrior rubbed quite a few people in the wrong way, and wasn’t very popular backstage among his peers, but he had something that very few superstars at that time had – charisma and the ‘it’ factor. Warrior soon found himself at the top of the mountain, winning the prestigious WWE Intercontinental title as well as the coveted WWE championship.
All that came crumbling down when Warrior refused to show up at a PPV, claiming that he was underpaid, and demanded equal payment as Hulk Hogan. Vince McMahon, wanting to teach Warrior a lesson, initially agreed to his demands, but proceeded to fire Warrior as soon as he walked to the back during the course of his match! The WWE brought back Warrior once more, but let him go after a very short stint. Warrior would make once last appearance in a WWE ring after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, but sadly p
assed away the very next day.

#3 Brock Lesnar
The current WWE World Heavyweight champion has arguably been the most dominant competitor to have walked through the curtains in a decade! Not so long ago, Brock Lesnar did the unthinkable, when he broke The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania, and then annihilated the former WWE World Heavyweight champion, John Cena, and thus steamrolled his way through the entire locker room. Very few would’ve thought Lesnar would return to the company a decade ago, let alone being the ‘chosen one’ to break the coveted streak at the grandest stage of them all.
In ’04, after WWE heavily invested in Lesnar, he gave the company a short – term notice, saying that he was going to leave to focus on a different career. WWE had no other option but to let Lesnar go, but signed him to a no – compete clause. Lesnar returned to pro wrestling, thus violating the contract he signed, which resulted in a long, drawn out battle between the WWE and Lesnar. Lesnar finally won the legal battle, but not before angering quite a few people at the top in the WWE.

#4 Stone Cold Steve Austin
Steve Austin is arguably the greatest name in the history of professional wrestling. Not only did he spearhead the Attitude Era, but also shattered every record imaginable in the business. Austin is also rumored to be the biggest draw that WWE ever had, and has generated more revenues than any other superstar in the history of the organization. Austin’s greatest feud was with the evil boss, Mr. McMahon, and that turned into a reality in the early half of the new millennium, when he walked out of the WWE due to creative issues.
Vince McMahon then came out and announced to the world that Steve had “taken his ball home”. Rumors started making rounds that Austin was unhappy with the creative direction for his character, and wasn’t willing to put the newest sensation, Brock Lesnar over. Austin eventually returned to the WWE and ended up retiring soon after, due to problems stemming from his neck injury.

#5 CM Punk
Perhaps the biggest story of 2014 was CM Punk walking out of the WWE. The last time anyone from the WWE Universe saw Punk in a WWE ring was during the Royal Rumble in January, and reports surfaced before the next episode of RAW began that Punk had a heated argument with Vince McMahon, and walked out of the arena. As months passed, everyone hoped that the former WWE champion would return to the organization; some went as far as saying that it was inevitable, but Punk never returned to the WWE, and his contract with the organization ran out in July.
Although no one knows the exact reason why Punk quit, or has any information regarding his heated exchange with the boss, very few people are as headstrong about their beliefs and decisions as CM Punk. Punk has since announced his retirement from professional wrestling, and is now happily married to the former WWE Divas champion, AJ Lee. Although most of the fans would hope that Punk eventually returns in a part – time role, similar to that of Brock Lesnar and The Rock, for now, we might have seen the last of the Second City Saint in a WWE ring.

1. Daniel Bryan
It really begins at 2013’s Summerslam. The now immensely popular Daniel Bryan pins Cena clean for the title but has his moment cut short by a double-crossing Triple H and a MITB cashing-in Randy Orton.
At Night Of Champions he defeats Orton, regaining his title but again has his momentum stymied by Triple H – his title is stripped on RAW the following night after a closer look at the match’s climax revealed a fast count from the referee Scott Armstrong.
In the months that followed, with Bryan seemingly firmly in place as the most popular wrestler in WWE perhaps since Stone Cold Steve Austin he had opportunity after opportunity taken from him, televised humiliation after humiliation perpetrated on him all the while with Triple H referring to him (kayfabe) as aa “B+ player”.
WWE were using the perception that Vince can’t stand to push the smaller guys and incorporating it into a story that seemed to be proving it true. It was a fuzzy logic at best. The desire in fans to see Bryan enter and win the Royal Rumble in January was discussed earlier, yet their flame was dampened once more.
Even though Bryan was the most “over” star in years it seemed that WWE was unwilling to do much more than dangle the carrot and regularly make him look an absolute fool. It got to be too frustrating for some and many felt that giving up on WWE was the only course of action.
Of course the long game came into play at the glorious celebration of Wrestlemania 30 but soon after Bryan would hand back the belt due to a legit injury. Once more he and his followers barely had the chance to revel in the glory and it now looks, with hindsight, that they just waited too long to pull the trigger on a Bryan title run.

2. Fake Diesel, Fake Razor
When Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) and Kevin Nash (Diesel) took the money and ran from an ailing WWE to the then-thriving WCW in 1996 they left the copyright to their characters behind. It turned out they couldn’t have been in less responsible hands.
Vince McMahon chose to bring back the characters without the wrestlers that made their names. A classic bit of Vince “no-one’s bigger than WWE” thinking.
So Glenn Jacobs (Kane) was introduced as Diesel and Rick Bognar brought in as Razor. They were intended to be part of a storyline involving Jim Ross as a wantaway WWE employee. Of course it was terrible, obviously it was an insult to both the characters and their fans, and happily, they were pulled from TV almost immediately.
